Doc visit

I went to the doc today to discuss some issues I have been having with my health...one is the low blood sugars I seem to keep having more often and the need to eat more. I think it is nuts that I am working out and need to cut calories, but my body keeps demanding more.....so what he feels is going on is that the muscle that i have built up is now recognizing the insulin in my body at a more normal level....with that going on the metformin is possibly too high of dose now, causing my blood sugar levels to go too low which causes me to have my "hot flashes", weakness, and wacky feelings...so finally after 3 years I am cutting my dose in half and he thinks this might help me not to feel like i need to eat so often and will allow my body to use the food I give it and "hold" my hunger off longer. So that is good news...he even told me if I keep losing weight and working out I could potientally go off the med completely....woo hooo....that would mean I could stop the b12 injections once every three months also....which would be nice....it is just a hassle to have to go and get them.
So anyway that is my update...

Friday I am going to meet up with mom and Judy and Kenny to go out for dinner at Chicago Pizza in Green Bay for my birthday. So that is keeping me moving at 5 a.m. to get to the gym around 5;30 so i can get my workouts in. I think my body responds better when I work out in the morning than after work. This week and next week I don't have time to go after work because of all the meetings/appointments I have going on. I also had the EMG done on my wrist and found out the carpel tunnel is very mild. So tomorow when i go and see my ortho doc he hopefully will just give me some exercises to do to stretch out the nerve/muscle and calm down the wrist. I have been working on strecthes for it and using a stress ball to help it out....
o.k. so that is all about me...for now.

that is great about the meds, hopefully you can get off them, I'm proud of your persistance with the workouts, morning is always best, you feel good all day and then you hopefully can get to sleep better at night because you haven't reved up your system so much. I need to get better at the proper eating, trying to do better. Mom
