Update part 2

So here are some photos of a quilt I made recently. My good Friend Steph had a baby shower as she was due March 5 I think....well it wasn't but about 2 weeks after the shower and she had the baby! She was 5 weeks early, but 6 lbs 18 1/2 inches long and spent 10 days in the NICU. So I had made this quilt for Steph and baby, as the baby's room is a total underwater adventure! I thought it would be so easy to make a quilt like this as it is just strips.....wrong! It was not that easy because if you don't sew perfectly straight it doesn't look that great....







Well I had my 33 birthday this past week. Here are photos of the beautiful flowers I got from my dear friend Shona...she has them sent to school for me....I have them home this weekend and I love them!!!
I also got a button up shirt from Kenny, a nice top from my parents, a gift certificate for a massage from Judy and we went out for dinner. OH yea mom, judy, kenny and I went out for dinner the saturday before my b-day too!! yummmy....
Then I went out with the Pizza hut buds and has a nice fun night out......Had to no problem getting up the next day for work! They all thought I would be calling in sick...ha ha they don't know me very well!!!



Well I think that is all for now....just been working in the new semester with new kids, and working at Pizza hut. It is freezing cold tonight...something like it is going to be -10 below and then the wind chills are like -30 or something? I have to actually turn my heat up past 62 or I will be chilled tonight....
